i tried several (free) hosted board sites this week.......maybe 8 in all........and i narrowed it down....
right now it's between these 3 places..........
each has it's own pluses and minuses..........
the "zeta" board could be the most rockin.. but you really gotta know your code work....and you don't get much help..........if you are a programmer it might be the best of all...........but it's really hard to do anything with.......and takes a lot of time........also the ads are a bit intrusive......kind of a pain in the ass.....i don't wanna have to build other people's boards there.....too much work.....
the forumer is best for the regular user with no experience cause you can change your entire board's theme in one click.........but not too much customization afterwards........yet the built in themes are pretty damn cool.............ads also ...but not as intrusive...best for people that wanna have a quick cool place and don't want any help...........easy simple and cool........
the runboard has some fair themes........but you can really tweak em out.......but they shut down for nightly maintenance..........for like 20 minutes...i can help people do stuff there.........it looks fully customizable....but ya gotta deal with html....and css....but seperately.....(a real plus).........

oh yeah all ads can be removed with payment....(like ezboards).....

don't wait for ezboard....or you will find yourself at yuck ewww..........
don't do yuku.........it's like swimming in mud with handcuffs on.............
if you got superior skills....(better than mine).....use zeta and get the most customizing options........but beware your on your own there...........you gotta build that sucker from scratch and from the ground up.........
if you wanna quick,great lookin place use the forumer...........easy as hell.....and looks great........but no special codes will work and very little customizing.........still for the casual user....a great place..........
runboard..........right now i'm leaning towards them.........lots of options........not too many great built in skins but changing things shouldn't be to hard.........if you can deal with html and css.........

maybe if we all start with a clean slate.....we can kind of have a new beginning.........and deal with things as they come............
